Snapping: Feminist Pedagogy and Navigating the “New” Right

Abstract

This paper uses anecdotal and affect theory to think through the repercussions of feminist pedagogy while navigating the “new” right. It extends Sara Ahmed’s metaphors of the feminist snap and the feminist ear as pedagogical and epistemological tactics.

Cet article utilise des récits anecdotiques et la théorie des affects pour réfléchir aux répercussions de la pédagogie féministe tout en naviguant parmi les écueils de la « nouvelle » droite. Il étend les métaphores de Sara Ahmed sur le « feminist snap » (pétage de plomb féministe) et l’oreille féministe comme tactiques pédagogiques et épistémologiques.
