Biographical note
Volha Isakava is Associate Professor of Russian, Russian Program Advisor and Chair of the Department of World Languages and Cultures at Central Washington University. She teaches Russian language and culture, film and cultural studies. Her specialty is cinema and popular culture. Her current research is on transnational genre cinema in post-Soviet countries, such as Belarus, Russia and Ukraine.
