Analyse de pratique et processus de transformation chez des éducateurs

Résumé

Ces dernières années, la science appliquée a été fortement critiquée comme stratégie de renouvellement des pratiques et une nouvelle épistémologie de l’agir professionnel comportant différentes démarches axées sur l’analyse des pratiques est d’ailleurs apparue. Très peu de recherches ont été faites pour décrire et comprendre ce qui se vit au cours de ces activités d’autoformation et de co-formation. Dans cet article, nous nous centrons sur le processus de transformation intérieure d’éducateurs engagés dans une démarche collective d’analyse de leur agir professionnel qui visaient à les aider à prendre conscience des dimensions personnelles et affectives qui entrent en jeu dans les interactions. L’analyse des récits construits à partir des productions des participants a permis de faire ressortir huit constituants. Leurs manifestations et leurs interactions ont été décrites. Les constituants identifiés correspondent de manière générale à ce qui a été observé par les principaux chercheurs consultés. La représentation proposée du processus de transformation intérieure et la mise en évidence de l’intentionnalité dans celui-ci, constituent la contribution principale de cette recherche.

Abstract

In recent years, applied science has come in for severe criticism as the basis of a strategy for renewing teaching practice; and we have witnessed the rise of a new epistemology of professional action consisting of various processes centred on analysing practice. There have been very few studies geared to describing and understanding what is experienced during these self-teaching and co-learning activities. In this article, we focus on the process of inner transformation among educators who took part in a collective activity to analyse professional practice, whose purpose was to help them become aware of the personal and affective dimensions at play in their interactions. Analysis of the narratives derived from participants' efforts revealed eight constituents. The manifestations and interactions of these constituents were described. Generally speaking, the constituents correspond to what has been observed by the main researchers consulted. The main contributions of this study are a proposed representation of the inner transformation process and the highlighting of intentionality in that process.
