Note biographique
Louis Epstein est doctorant en musicologie à l’Université Harvard. Récipiendaire de la bourse Georges Lurcy Fellowship, il passe l’année scolaire 2009–2010 à Paris afin de se consacrer à une thèse portant sur l’influence du financement dans la composition musicale française de la période d’entre-deux-guerres. La musique française est au centre de ses recherches, de même que les rapports entre musique et mécénat.
